Read papers with a critical eye — and write ones that get read.
This course teaches the two skills every researcher uses daily: breaking down a published article to judge whether its conclusions hold up, and structuring your own work so reviewers can follow it.
Across four sessions you’ll learn an efficient reading strategy, the IMRaD framework section by section, the academic writing skills that keep you out of trouble (paraphrasing, plagiarism, reference managers), and you’ll finish by critiquing a real paper and drafting your own abstract. (25 JOD)
